What can’t I store at Carrara?
For safety reasons, hazardous materials like gas bottles, petrol or any containers containing poisonous or hazardous materials cannot be stored at our facilities. We also will not permit the storage of food or living things (animals, plants etc) or tyres by themselves.
What is the minimum storage period at Carrara?
Fort Knox Storage Carrara has no minimum storage period. Our team understands everyone has different needs and reasons for using a storage unit, so we choose not to enforce a minimum storage period. No matter why you need a storage unit, rest assured Fort Knox Carrara can provide the storage solution you need.
Do I need to pay deposits?
At Fort Knox Carrara you are not required to pay a deposit on our storage units. We only charge rent for your time using our facility, but we do have competitive pricing deals with customers who pay for their units in advance of 3, 6 or 12 months. We also refund rent for unused days when you decide to leave.
How can I get my things into the storage unit at Carrara?
At Fort Knox Carrara we try to make your move in process as easy as possible. We provide a free move in trailer (although we suggest confirming its availability with the team prior to your move in), onsite managers so you receive personalised care and driveway units so you can easily back your vehicle up to the unit to unload your items.
How much notice do I have to give when moving out of Carrara?
At least 7 days’ notice is required by Fort Knox Carrara before you move out. It is best to let staff know as early as possible that you intend to move out, especially if it is sooner than originally planned. If for unforeseen reasons you have to move our urgently it is best to contact your Fort Knox Carrara site manager to organise this.
Do you sell storage boxes at Carrara?
We know how stressful moving can be, along with organising everything you need, which is why our Carrara storage office also has a box shop. Move in with ease and rest assured that if you require more storage boxes you can easily buy them onsite. With different sizes available, Fort Knox Carrara has all your needs covered.
